Slim and I just got back from Landrun. It was the 20th anniversary of the match. There were almost 400 shooters there and there were 30 shooters on our posse! I thought it would take hours to shoot a stage, but with our expeditors working to move guns and get shooters on deck, it went quick! The stages were simple but with a lot of movement. We will definitely want to go back.
Thanks to everyone on posse 10, especially our PM, Tonic Kid. What a great guy! (Yes, he sang the National Anthem to kick off the shoot.)
The awards banquet was held at the National Cowboy Museum and we had the opportunity to eat with Tex and Cat Ballou. We hope to see them again at Christmas in July.
Slim and I both walked away with first place wins. YeeHaw!
